Besides being an attorney, Jonathan loves to go to concerts, try new restaurants, explore museums, and go skiing.
Jonathan sees his work as an attorney as a game of mental chess, and is immeasurably focused on crafting the right strategy to get his clients what they want to achieve.
Jonathan Leavitt is an associate with Grant | Shenon. He primarily practices commercial litigation, concentrating on corporate, partnership, and real estate disputes. His background in business administration influences his approach as an advocate and counselor, and whether representing clients in connection with business disputes, property ownership rights, or other matters, Mr. Leavitt brings a nuanced and zealous approach to the pursuit and advancement of clients’ goals.
Prior to joining Grant | Shenon, Mr. Leavitt was an attorney at two other Southern California law firms dedicated to business and real estate litigation. During law school, Mr. Leavitt completed an externship for the Honorable Ernest M. Robles, Judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, during which time Mr. Leavitt gained insight into the inner workings of a judge’s chambers, as well as an understanding of the complexities of bankruptcy law, both of which serve him well in his current practice. Jonathan received his Bachelors of Science, Business Administration, from USC Marshall School of Business, and his JD from Loyola Law School.
