Ashley Kim
Ashley Kim is an attorney whose practice focuses on business, contract, entertainment, media, and civil litigation matters. Drawing on her background in transactional work and contract negotiation, Ashley brings a practical and strategic approach to resolving disputes and supporting clients through complex legal challenges. 

Ashley earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2024, where she was recognized for her academic achievements as a Dean’s List student, Biederman Entertainment, Media and Sports Law Institute Scholar, Dean’s Fellow, and Peer Mentor. During law school, she participated in several hands-on legal programs, including the Entertainment and Media Law Clinic and the Street Law Clinic, where she helped educate high school students about the law and their legal rights. In recognition of her leadership and service, The National Jurist named Ashley a Law Student of the Year in 2024 for her role as co-founder of the First Generation Law Student Association. 

Prior to joining Grant | Shenon | Almaraz, Ashley worked in the Entertainment Contracts Department at SAG-AFTRA as a Business Representative, where she gained valuable experience in contract administration, negotiation, and industry relations. She later transitioned into litigation, where she applies her transactional background and problem-solving skills to support the firm’s litigation team. 

Outside of her legal practice, Ashley enjoys attending concerts, hiking, cooking, and crocheting. A lifelong musician, she played the violin for many years and participated in a mariachi band from third grade through high school. She hopes to pick up the violin again in the near future and continue developing her musical talents.
